It's good you bring it out into the open, raghu. Instead of regulating production and implementing comprehensive cconomic and environmental planning, just slash consumption. One-two-three-many Greeces.
Only, as the living standard of the masses is slashed and slashed again in Greece, Greece is not becoming an environmental utopia. The truth is, no matter how far one slashes consumption, environmental devastation will grow if there is no regulation and control of production, while regulation and control has the possibility of increasing mass livelihood while protecting the environment - but this possibility will require a class struggle over the question of what type of regulation and control. ----------------------------------- Joseph Green [email protected] ------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
