We need the word "ideology" to explore social relations and thought about those relations. But anyone who asserts that "ideology" means B & not C totally disrupts a conversation. The word _has_ to be used in many different (and even conflicting) senses. Not a single one of those senses is either _correct_ or _incorrect_.
