Paradoxes are just a set of one or more inconsistent statements. They may be 
entertaining, but they don't contribute much to our knowledge. 

A set of statements is consistent if there is an interpretation where all are 
true. 

Only logical and mathematical statements can be proven to be true . 

Definitions are in the realm of philosophical statements which can't be 
established but allow us to communicate with each other.
