I forwarded what I thought was an interesting article. I didn't expect 
to get challenged by Robert Naiman. He forwards tons of stuff I disagree 
with but I almost never challenge. He asked me for my opinion on the 
agreement between Russia and the USA. If there is anything I have made 
clear on my blog articles that I have sent links to here, it is that 
these two imperialisms both have a deep interest in maintaining the 
basic status quo in Syria. Assadism without Assad. As someone who has 
been involved with the left for 49 years, this had the same effect on me 
as sipping some milk that had soured.
