Just wait and see how the NY Times story is repeated, amplified, echoed on TV news shows, etc. You have not seen the end of it. Regardless of his actual agenda, the more they do that, the more they tie the guy's hands. It's straightforward politicking. I'm still mystified by Louis' intent. He helped the press to dig out the guy's leftist past in order to convince fellow radicals (his alleged audience) of what? To convince them of how Democrats = Republicans? To convince them that the Democratic Party is no good in NYC? It makes no sense any way you look at it.
