Nice piece. My Australian dentist recommended implants and the like for 10K. I said forget it so we settled for a simple filling (350 AUD) and other preventive treatments. A few teeth missing after a good life, candy or whatever, could come off a seasoned boxer for all I know. Here my basic private health insurance (I am not eligible for the limited state care because of my non-residency status) covers a few of the dental stuff (25%), nothing major like a big filling, nothing pre-existing for a year.
