Really? Going to college in the US today is analogous to getting tortured
in the Inquisition?

I don't understand this strain of anti-intellectualism on this list. Is
complaining about how learning Greek is useless in modern society that much
different from Tea Partiers going on about the evils of liberal arts
education?

Following the logic of your complaints against education, every modern
institution is corrupted by capitalism, so Resistance is Futile. We might
as well just throw up our hands, give up and wait for the Armageddon?

Oh I know. We are not waiting for Armageddon. That is for stupid
Christians. We are waiting for Class Consciousness!
