The answer is that the workers who put their collective labour time
into producing the growing wealth of the USA don't control or own it.
That's the way the wage system operates. If you want to end poverty,
concentrate your political fire on abolishing the wage system and
replacing it with a system of social ownership of the collective
product of labour, production for use and distribution of wealth on
the basis of need.
