I have no opinion on Greece, and in fact am pretty ignorant of the relevant
facts. But I have a couple of observations, not on Greece, but on how the
debate is being conducted on pen-l and some other forums.

First, it is not only Marxists but all who have no crystal balls. I doubt
any of the predictions being made by various pundits on this list will be
realized. 

Second, whatever the Greeks or workers anywhere do, there are a number of
defeats (probably a large number) that must be swallowed before any
substantial vicotrifes for workers over global capital wil be achieved.
(Remember the Paris Commune.)

Arguments grounded in refusal to risk defeat aren't worth attending to.
