Sigh. You still don't get it. In 1983 Nicaragua had a bright future in front of it based on agriexports that had become state property. In fact for several years it was the fastest growing economy in Central America until Reagan combined economic warfare with counterrevolutionary violence to turn the economy into a basket case. And that was when the USSR still existed and European Social Democracy was committed to Sandinista success. Ultimately imperialism is dedicated to strangling all such experiments.
