Reed's whole analysis depends on what Angela Dvis clls the "Trap of Universality." That is a movement killer -- as in the vicious slogan, "All lives Matter." If you want a discussion of Reparations (I don't particularly), say something concrete aboaut the _movement_ for Reparations. Focusing on one individual (no matter how important) is dishonest.
