Jim D. suggested that the fiscal thrust of the US is driving the Chinese 
econmy.  Ignoring
that mix of humor and insight, imagine that you were studying economics in the 
60s &
developed a model that showed with $1/2 trillion budget deficit, low interest 
rates, and
deregulation of business that you would have a sluggish economy with persistant
unemployment.  Would anyone believe you?
