Every time a forest falls, the GDP goes up.
Every time a cancer patient is diagnosed, the GDP goes up.
Every new weapons system built...

Is this any way to measure progress?

TRUE COST CAMPUS JAMMERGROUPS

True Cost Economics is one of our most urgent campaigns. It's a fight
to revolutionize economics by establishing a new economic paradigm --
one that is open, holistic, and human-scale. The paradigm shift
begins with rumblings of disgust at economics departments around the
world. We'll start small by targeting 350 schools in North America.

First, we'll nail the True Cost Manifesto to the economics chair's
door. Then, over the next year, we'll slowly ratchet up the pressure.

We've just launched a new site to connect students, faculty, and
jammers with others who are interested in a True Cost Jam on your
campus. Take the leap at: <http://local.adbusters.org/>
