Thanks, Carrol, I always appreciate your comments on many lists. Of course what you say is true - I'm just picking apart as carefully as I can some of the problems that I see. After all, I'm entering a thread where some of the participants are speculating about the likelihood that the US can pull out of Iraq. How think about that without expanding on what's involved? Not so that my exalted thoughts will in any way contribute to the decisions made, but so that I may possibly contribute to a better understanding of some of the relevant questions.
