Doug Dowd was one of those Berkeley grad students, he went to Cornell. Another was Marvin Lee, who went to San Jose State. By the 1970s Lee had made economics at SJSU a good, dynamic and progressive program. The faculty included James O'Connor, Karl Neibel, and Doug Dowd along with a number of younger progressives. In this case the University administration did actively engage in a campaign to replace the progressives. Now that Department is dominated by Misesians. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
