Precisely.

I had cooked up many numbers myself, without any
regret, because that was the best could have done
given my mandate.

In a sense, it was like "I am not guilty of
killing those people because it was my mandate"
thing.

But at least my cooked up numbers did not have
much influence on the majority of about seven
billion people on earth.

Maybe a few hundred thousand, tops?

How else could I have survived where I was
otherwise?

This is what Doug fails to see.

We live in an unethical world and it is okay to
cheat, as long as you do not get caught.

For example, this intellectual property thing is
a thing of the academic world, at least, mostly,
apart from other areas where having that right to
that kind of "property" pays.

In the business world, we all plagiarize and lie,
if it is what the mandate is.

Well!

At least, this was what I had done when I was
there, with no regrets, so to speak, since it was
my mandate!!!...

Best,

Sabri
