A really fascinating idea! Let's begin,
though, by asking Julio, Alejandro and David to
identify concrete conditions and problems in
Mexico that need to be addressed to ensure that
any proposals made are rooted in the concrete
conditions of Mexico rather than pulled out of
our back pockets. Eg., I'd like to have some idea
as to whether proposals offered will be equally
applicable in North and South... and whether they
think the ground will be equally fertile.
un abrazo revolucionario,

I second Martin.
Over half the linked visits to my blog are referred from Mexican
sites. So it seems that I get a fair amount of Mexican visitors,
although I have no idea of their demographics.
Anyway, here's an idea. I'll publish PEN-L members' ideas on my blog.
And ***if*** there's an easy way for me to package them, I'll wrap
them up and submit them to the Convención on behalf of the list --
hopefully with minimal editorial license. Deal?
What kind of economic program, measures, etc. do you believe the
Convención could/should/would endorse and implement with an
alternative popular government as its executive instrument?
