I disagree. Instead, I see post autistic economics as _nothing new_.
It's the standard stuff, methodological critiques of NC economics and
the like. It's been seen again & again in the Association of Social
Economics, the Institutionalists, URPE, etc.  It's the standard
carping -- however valid -- that we expect from the competitive fringe
hovering around a monopolist (i.e., NC econ).

The only thing that's adding relevance to the 7+ dwarfs nipping at the
heels of the NC Snow White is that the latter has been locking in its
ideological hegemony. This is especially true of the Chicago school
variant of NC econ. This deepening hegemony is likely a result of the
neo-liberal policy revolution of the 1980s and will likely last longer
than neo-liberalism itself, since tenure allows old fogies to hang
onto power.
