Yeah - but for which side. The overwhelming majority of USAIans are insured. One of the strengths of Sicko is that is empahsizes that our current system is bad for people with insurance. I'm not blaming Colbert. His shtick is his shtick - and much of the time it is funny. And in fact "premium member" captures very well a mind set -- but unfortunately I think a lot people like to think of themselves as "premium members". One of the big hurdles we have to overcome in fighting for single payer is the fear that people will get worse service. "Premium member" captures that fear, and I think states it very well.
