I really don't mind the disagreement and I'm not afraid of being wrong, but,
as Michael later indicates, I think it's disrespectful for someone to
dismiss an idea in two words without pointing out where the error(s) lie(s).
I'd rather remain as a lurker rather than engage in such a conversation.
Additional disappointment arose from the decision to draw the discussion
away from the point I was more concerned with, that is the notion of
unproductive capital. Nobody seemed to be interested in this (for
understandable reasons), but I believe it's an important consideration;
capital doesn't go away if the mode of production is changed, it just get's
used in a different way. Which is why I asked whether an SUV (once
manufactured and sold) is more or less productive that a two seater.
