What do the polls on head to head Dem/Reps show ?
McCain beats both Hillary and Obama by 3-4 points, and importantly, he
crosses 50% while neither of the Dems do. This data is from my memory,
based on stuff I read in the past on Polling Report.

Well, things have taken a turn for the worse ;-). As of now:
CNN/Opinion Research (Feb 3, 2008):
McCain: 44, Obama: 52
McCain: 47, Clinton: 50
Cook (Feb 3, 2008):
McCain: 44, Obama: 52
McCain: 47, Clinton: 50
Cook (Feb 2):
McCain: 43, Obama: 45
McCain: 45, Clinton: 41
