Thanks for the tip. For your info, I installed mandrake 6 and did install
i740 vga, link it to Xserver, but still cannot run xwindows. The error
message wer execve failed /etc/X11/X (errn0 13). Xinit refused, error no
111. Any clue

I used pII 350Mhz, SE440BX2 intel original motherboard, and with i740 vga
card..and I dont have any problem with that,
make sure you upgrade ur Xconfigurator, xf86setup, and i740 driver..and
configure it with XF86Setup
