that one is NOT proxy , requesting proxy call to httpd port (80)  will
return the frontpage.

proxy normally use other port than 80
normaly 3128, using squid.
at the browser , set proxy to that IP , that browse , normally kena edit
sikit squid.conf.

the proxy is wrong..  then forget proxy .

OK let me explain  again .

how proxy work.
client machine --> connect to a port from proxy server --> internet
for every service, open one port
exception for socks (many apps can use socks)


masqurade work like this ..

client --> didnot connect, just lalu --> internet ..

assuming u forget proxy OK?

go to http://ikhlas.com     [1] 
search for "ipchains-firewall" by choosing "Perisian di Freshmeat"
dowload it.

tar xzvf that_file_name.tar.gz

there are install.sh and readme 
read the readme , and i think it ask u to run install.sh

simple tips, use "masquerading" nstead of routable & standalone

i hope it work ..

ops one more thing ppl always forget 
set ipforwarding to ON using any method u like (democracy)
