Hi all.
I wouldn't call it "lousy malay", I think it might
be more appropriate to label it informal language.
Personally, most of the time I have no problem with it, and
am able to figure out what the guys here
are talking about (context helps :). Then again there
are those rare occasions :)
I feel that in a forum like this, users are best
left to voice their thoughts in whatever language
they're most comfortable with.
OTOH, in the interest of being fair to everyone,
maybe we could have a simple glossary listing
the meanings of various slang/informal words
frequently used in the forum? I think this would
be not only useful, but will be a great learning
opportunity. Can even practice with your Malay
buddies :)
