PASIR PUTEH: The South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar) proposes to develop Stong Hill in Dabong as a rural tourism resort under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.
Kesedar chairman Datuk Ramzi Abdul Rahman said this was among other projects to be implemented from the RM131mil allocated by the Federal Government. The Kelantan government had given its nod to develop Stong Hill, he told reporters after handing out study loan cash advances to 169 students from the National Higher Learning Education Fund Corporation here recently. Each student received RM1,500. Ramzi, who is also Dabong state assemblyman, said Stong Hill had vast potential to be developed as it was rich in flora and fauna species and had the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in South-East Asia.//Thestar 15 June ------------------------ Yahoo!
