Hello everyone, I wanted to update everyone on the status of perfmon2 support for the Intel Atom processor which has been released a couple of months back.
I have just pushed to the GIT tree the kernel component, i.e., a new PMU description module called perfmon_intel_atom.c. Atom processors do provide PEBS support. That support is identical to the Intel Core PEBS. Thus, you need to use perfmon_pebs_core_smpl.c. Support is provided for both 32 and 64 bit Atom. In the next few days, I will release libpfm and pfmon support for Atom.
