Do the HW counters available in the processor(s) on which you are running support what you want to do? caliper (http://www.hp.com/go/caliper) running on IA64 systems can pull much of what you seek (but not all), and it uses perfmon, but caliper's being able to do that isn't a function of its use of perfmon - it is a function of perfmon being able to expose something available in IA64. Hence the question about your hardware. rick jones ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ perfmon2-devel mailing list perfmon2-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/perfmon2-devel
