Thanks for your reply. The hardware is Xeon 5160, two processors. The
chipset is The Intel® 975X Express Chipset.
I want to access the following stats: L2 cache miss (the lowest-level
cache), average memory latency, memory access rate/numbers
Do you think it is possible to throttle the number of memory access per unit
time. What I mean is to hold some of memory accesses temporarily, such that
I can throttle the bandwidth of the memory.
