Gary,

The GIT tree contains the latest code against 2.6.29. I am
very late for 2.6.29, I recognize it. I have been busy with other
issues.

What's missing for 2.6.29?

I said, I would add PEBS support for Intel Nehalem. The reason
this was delayed is that in 2.6.29, there is a new internal API
called ds.c which must be used to managed PEBS. I changed
the existing Netburst and Core PEBS modules to use this new
API with only tiny visible changes to user level code.

But this prompted another redesign on PEBS support. With ds.c,
it is now possible to provide a unified PEBS kernel modules for
Netburst, Core, and Nehalem. And this got delayed unfortunately.

I am hoping that by next week, I should have something useable.
