This patch set implements support for new AMD cpus, esp. AMD family 15h (Orochi). This release is also intended for inclusion into PAPI, which uses libpfm3. I will send the same patches also to the PAPI mailing list as part of of a patch set that adds cpu family 15h support for PAPI.
