Bump. I've so far found some linux patches to get uncore events
working with linux perf. Is that my only option? I'm already using
pfmon for all my work and moving to perf just for this would break
many other things. pfmon documentation says that it supports uncore
events for core i7 processors.

Any help on how to get uncore events working with pfmon?
Thanks,
Vishal

Hi,
I've pfmon running on a Nehalem-EX server. The problem is that pfmon
is not showing any uncore events with pfmon -LUNC_. Is there
something that I need to enable in particular to get uncore events
working? Any help on this would be great. Here is my configuration:
detected host CPUs: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X7560 @ 2.27GHz (stepping 6)
detected pfmon PMU model: Intel Nehalem
detected libpfm PMU model: Intel Nehalem

supported pfmon PMU models: [AMD64] [Pentium 4] [Intel Core] [Intel
Atom] [Intel Nehalem] [Intel architectural PMU]
supported sampling modules: [inst-hist] [detailed] [compact] [raw]
