Hi Robert, With respect to this old post, is the IBS related kernel patch, part of the latest mainline kernel?
I am running linux kernel 2.34 and wanted to experiment with ibs_sampl.c example. Do I have to apply the kernel patch before I try this? Also, I couldn't find the corresponding code changes in libpfm4. So I guess I will have to use the libpmf4 patch (https://lkml.org/lkml/2010/10/18/329) Kindly let me know your suggestions.
