Hi Robert,

With respect to this old post, is the IBS related kernel patch, part
of the latest mainline kernel?

I am running linux kernel 2.34 and wanted to experiment with
ibs_sampl.c example. Do I have to apply the kernel patch before I try
this?
Also, I couldn't find the corresponding code changes in libpfm4. So I
guess I will have to use the libpmf4 patch
