Hi,

I have just started using pfmon-3.2-061204 on Linux 2.6.19, and it seems to work great on an Intel Core 2 with the architectural performance events. However, it does not seem to provide access to the non-architectural events. Are these supported in this version, or should I review my kernel/libpfm/pfmon build process?

The output of pfmon --info is:

detected host CPUs: 2-way 2667MHz/4.0MB -- Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6700 @ 2.66GHz (stepping 6)
detected PMU model: Intel Core
max counters/set: 5
supported PMU models: [AMD64] [Intel P6 processor] [Intel Pentium M] [Pentium 4] [Intel Core] [Intel Core Solo/Core Duo] [Intel architectural PMU] supported sampling modules: [inst-hist] [detailed] [compact] [raw] [pebs]
pfmlib version: 3.2
kernel perfmon version: 2.3

The output of pfmon --show-events is:
UNHALTED_CORE_CYCLES
INSTRUCTIONS_RETIRED
UNHALTED_REFERENCE_CYCLES
LAST_LEVEL_CACHE_REFERENCES
LAST_LEVEL_CACHE_MISSES
BRANCH_INSTRUCTIONS_RETIRED
MISPREDICTED_BRANCH_RETIRED

Thank you,
Roland
