Is it safe to assume that pre-compiled packages for most distros are compiled with functions in-lined? Do any distros provide information about the compiler flags used for each package?
If I want to perform fine-grained profiling, should I just recompile the package I want to profile (and its dependencies) without in-lining? Are there any other build options I should keep in mind when recompiling packages to be profiled? -Travis Reitter _______________________________________________ Performance-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/performance-list
