I can confirm Tilman's findings.

StderrPipe shouldn't be created if it isn't used, and the option 
-output-files-stderr of genfileembed is also unnecessary now.

There is also a new problem, cross-compiling doesn't seem to work for me with 
b489cfa6bf2da5e7806dc16a58872a581f79808c:
