Hi Melvin, Yes, I have seen the comparison and other mentions of the two together. Most interestingly is that upspin is more of a namespace than a file system with a collection of authentication and autheorization protocols, IIUC. It already has several storage backends, notably AWS and GCP. My plan involves making perkeep a backend store for upspin.
I think I've read about solid. I'll look into it in more detail.
