You could have been much more helpful.

A list's address usually only lets people post messages.  If we're to
read them as well, you will need to provide subscription information.

Your message must be retrieved from the list's archives if we're to
read it.  Where are the archives kept?

Why didn't you just Cc your rant to this list?  Then we could have
read it instead of your announcement, and we could have participated
in the conversation from its outset.
