Peter, You should already have write access, did you try it? You will see I have already made the s/digest_uri/digest-uri/ change. I looked at you patch and saw you realm addition. And I agree there is more todo here. I will try to put together my thoughts on it tonight. But feel free to check in what you have. Graham.
