Hi *,

I am in really big trouble at the moment: All of my Net::LDAP scripts
all of a sudden stopped working, when started on Windows and querying
Exchange 5.5 servers 8-<
Exactly the same scripts work perfectly as before when started on Linux
and querying Exchange 5.5. They also work as expected, when started on
Windows or Linux and querying an Active Directory DC.
I'm not aware of any changes on our Windows clients or Exchange 5.5
servers, but there might have been small changes on the client, I am not
aware of. The problems first occurred about four weeks ago.

When I start any of these scripts on Windows for querying an Exchange
5.5 server, I *always* get one of two errors:
- Server encountered an internal error
- Unrecognized version number or incorrect PDU structure

Sometimes one or two pages (using Net::LDAP::Control::Paged) are returned
before the error occurs.

For a code example please see attachment.

Environment:
- Windows XP SP1 or SP2 German
- Linux kernel 2.6.13.3
- perl 5.8.4 on Windows
- perl 5.8.5 on Linux
- Net::LDAP 0.3301 on both platforms

Any hint what might cause these problems?

TIA.

Bye.
Michael.
