Trouble with Net::LDAP

I'm writing an application that uses Net::LDAP. When I try to add an
object in my tree y get this errors:
LDAP_PROTOCOL_ERROR Unrecognized version number or incorrect PDU
structure.

Any clue to debug this is welcome.
