Well I don't know the exact mechanism by which the page control works, so my gut inclination would be to remove it entirely, at least to rule it out as an issue. The only other thing that occurs to me is to wonder if the account you're using actually has permission to read all elements? You might be able to get a better idea of that by seeing what another tool does---what, for instance, does ldapsearch do when you hand it the equivalent query? Mike.
