I recently made a patch to libnet-1.0607 in order to use Net::FTP on
OS/390. After
discussing it some on [EMAIL PROTECTED], I created a libnet-1.0608
distribution that
replaces Net/Cmd.pm and Net/FTP.pm with Cmd_pm.PL and FTP_pm.PL. I also
modified Makefile.PL and MANIFEST so that the installation detects the
platform
and checks for Convert::EBCDIC if $^O is 'os390', and installs the OS/390
changes
in Cmd.pm and FTP.pm.
I'm posting this message in case Graham would like to include my changes in
the next update to libnet.
