It's partially useful to me.  It's nice to run tests in one terminal and see 
'red' when the test fails.  I'd like to wrap a wxPerl or Tk interface on it,

I'll be doing that tonight myself. Part of the reason I've been so energetic 
lately is being a strange country with few friends, so I have more time on my 
hands.  On the other hand, that doesn't help the social situation.  Maybe Perl 
could advance further if we keep moving around core Perl people? :)
