Oh, I did not know you can freeze versions using a Bundle.
I could have guessed I am not going to be the first one to come up
with such idea :-)

As a second thought I think Bundles do not provide the behavior I am
looking for.
A Bundle enables me to install a bunch of modules (possibly frozen in an earlier
version) at once. Installing all of them.

What I would like is that people can keep installing and upgrading individual
modules and their prerequisites but the versions they are installing
is controlled
by an external list.

In a way this is what Linux distros do or ActiveState does, but I
would like to do it
on CPAN level and still in source code.
As a start I could possibly creat a minicpan for particular modules
and their cross-tested
versions.

Does this make sense?
