Dude, its an alpha. The whole point of an alpha is to toss something out that you're not sure works to get other people to beat on it! Wringing your hands over perception issues defeats the point. Don't worry about it so much. If its not in the CPAN index folks don't even know it exists. And folks don't beat on CPANPLUS and Module::Build because they messed up an alpha release. -- The interface should be as clean as newly fallen snow and its behavior as explicit as Japanese eel porn.
