That's good, that Test::Harness "helpfully" adding magic global hidden command line options to all invocations isn't the problem here. It's bad that the problem is still unknown. Do you have any HARNESS_OPTIONS or other relevant environment variables set? (HARNESS_OPTIONS probably isn't the culprit, as prove respects that too.) -- c
