Well, then let's improve on the process that others are using or make certain that we publish what we consider the criteria for "proven" and let people apply appropriately. Hell, nothing and no one is perfect, we just have to find the Best Thing and go with it.
I like the idea of a "General Trainer" list (with optional reviews) and a "Preferred List" (or some such title) of trainers that have gone through a review and match the criteria. My point was to make an honest attempt to make sure we did not discount any one from the list without merit (or lack thereof). If you want to be listed as a Perl trainer, but don't want to subject yourself to or cannot pass the criteria review, so be it. We have a list for you to advertise on anyway. Ebay has a problem with shill bidding, and has several rules and penalties in place, including criminal prosecution. when you take time to do your homework on these sorts of projects, you discover all sorts of things that you'd rather not spend your time doing. -- brian d foy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Perl services for hire CGI Meta FAQ - http://www.perl.org/CGI_MetaFAQ.html Troubleshooting CGI scripts - http://www.perl.org/troubleshooting_CGI.html ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
