Just what exactly is your Perl question? Is it how can Perl get rid of ^M characters?
Just how exactly are the files detached (sic)? Normally ^M characters arise from FTP'ing ASCII files in binary mode, are you doing this? -----Original Message----- From: Nagesh Reddy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, April 23, 2002 6:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Perl-unix-users] ^M characters Hi all , I have a problem after detaching a attachment from a e-mail , I am able to see that the detached attachment contains ^M characters appended to each line. Can anyone tell me how do i get rid of the ^M characters in the file detached from a e-mail. Thanks, Nagesh. _______________________________________________ Perl-Unix-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
