like the
net file
command does, but from perl (because i want to see the whole filename and
not just bits of it).

at the moment, i run a scheduled task on the server
net file > text
and process it remotely.

any suggestions? i know that there is a service from www.sysinternals.com
that lists file handles, but i would prefer a simple API call as its running
on a server.

i didnt find anything on cpan unfortunately, looking for file handle is a
little like looking for water in the ocean....
