http://rsync.samba.org has some good stuff for this. I have shelled out to it with 
perl in the past. One caveat, however: on NT4 it relies upon a cygwin dll (a unix api 
for win32). Cygwin file i/o is based upon 32 bit code, and therefore fails when the 
2GB limit is passed. Other than that, it's a champ (also, this is only an issue on NT).

Have any of you worked with moving files in secure shell (SSH or SCP)
instead of FTP?  I have Perl scripts to move file for me now using FTP but
a new project I am on requires secure transfer.  What I need is a product
(client) that will work with a command line input (script).  Are you
familiar with any?
